Topic: College Enrolment-Increasing new student numbers

Minutes

 

1             Welcome, Apologies, Minute taker

2             Parking’s in College

·         Mousa opened this point as he said we needed more parking’s

·         Ahmed agreed to the point as well he mentioned there is a lot of space in the college which is empty and good to be a parking space

·         Ali stated that shaded parking’s is a good idea

3             Flexible Time Table

·         Ali said if the same class will be offered nearly three times a day

·         Ahmed  agreed to Ali’s point due to the incensement in the number of students more classes should be offered

 

4          New Classes and Major’s

·         Mousa said that if a new campus was built with same facilities offered in the main campus in the ADMC

·         Ahmed also said that if more majors were added to the ADMC

·         Ali added that Medicine,Law and Logistics are a main focus in the UAE and more students will apply if the ADMC offered these majors

 

 

5                 Add and Drop , Students Registering on their own

 

·         Ahmed discussed that the ADM should change their policy toward the students and should let the students choose their own classes

·         Ali also agreed on Ahmed’s point and said that more summer classes should be offered unlike now only two subject in the summer

·         Mousa said that more teachers should be recruited so the more the students the more the availability of classes to be offered

6.    Recommendations – discussion points

·         Ali said that we should meet again and discuss our points

·         Ahmed thought that contacting the administration and prepare with them a time for a meeting

·         Mousa said that we should focus on more points and defer our decision until the next meeting and try to get the administration for a meeting to discuss the points with

·         Meeting decided to defer decision until next meeting
